Thankfully, yesterdays snow didn't last too long - maybe a couple of hours - that's my kind of snowfall!
Above are pictures of a few new beads I have added to my Etsy shop.  I hope you're having a great day!

IT'S SNOWING! @#$%^&*

Yes, it is snowing here on the west coast.  While I don't "hate" snow, I am also not a big fan, especially when it is about the 4th time this winter!  Anyway, I decided to take the opportunity to practise with my shutter speed for my photography class.  In the first picture I had a fairly fast shutter speed and "froze" the snow flakes.  In the second photo I had a slow shutter speed, and the snow looks like a torrential rain downpour instead - it's great learning how to work the camera settings.  Now if only I could figure out how to take better pictures of my beads!

Well, I'm off to clean beads, and will be listing them later on Etsy.  Have a great day!

Snow, Snow, Snow

After working all week getting ready for the 4 day studio tour that started on Thursday, it was quite dissappointing to get up this morning to a white winter wonderland.  Although it looked very pretty, it was not great for customers coming, and the expected flood of people was a mere trickle.  Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit better - although it is supposed to get colder and freeze everything solid.  On the bright side, I will have lots of stock for the spring shows. sigh.

The picture below is from our front porch.  If you look closely at the lower left hand corner, you can see the path to the studio we very carefully made and covered with bark mulch, now has snow shovelled off and looking very messy.   Can you tell I am "ticked off" at Mother Nature?
